Our research underlined demand for positioning inspired by nature, genuine and regionally familiar. Various routes were explored, including ingredient-led design, before the Scandinavian landscape emerged as the more authentic, inspiring and immersive way to engage highly discerning consumers. The new range was designed to celebrate Nordic regions’ diverse and beautiful landscapes. Names and wording were chosen to convey wood, grass and water, linked closely to the distinctive landscape and conveying the sense of being transported into a new sensory experience. The familiar imagery was the perfect way to captivate the local target market.
