One of The Body Shop’s defining features has always been its commitment to scent and the experiences those scents create. With Spa of the World, that focus is combined with another of the brand’s iconic USPs – an authentic dedication to ingredients, influences and cultures from across the globe.

Originally designed to meet consumer demand for indulgent rituals, Spa of the World offered affordable luxury through body creams, scrubs, oils and more. But despite its heritage and loyal following, the range had begun to lose ground.

Beautiful Thinking

As part of its return to the high street, The Body Shop looked to Free The Birds to re-engage lapsed customers and reignite the sense of discovery and indulgence at the heart of the collection. Our task was to retain the hallmarks that had made Spa of the World so beloved – amber-toned packaging, golden accents and an elevated giftable feel – while evolving the design for today’s audience.

We introduced refined illustrative details that spotlight the origin of each hero ingredient, reconnecting the range to the history and cultures that inspired it. This balance of familiarity and elevation restored a sense of richness and authenticity, while ensuring the products remain proudly premium and instantly recognisable on shelf.

The result is a refreshed collection that feels rooted in tradition yet ready for new audiences. A sensorial journey that brings the luxury of spa rituals home.
