In an increasingly saturated sleep health sector, Novanuit – one of Europe’s leading sleep solution brands – recognised the need to evolve. While the category continues to grow, consumer trust is at risk. Shoppers are faced with a sea of similar claims, indistinct packaging, and visual identities that blend into one another.
To reclaim standout and reinforce its pioneering status, Novanuit sought our support to refresh the brand’s visual identity – beginning with its flagship French market. The goal was to create a bold and ownable design that communicates efficacy, instils calm, and builds brand clarity across a competitive retail environment.
We developed a confident new visual identity for Novanuit that balances clinical strength with emotional reassurance. The new design architecture centres around clarity, calming structure, and standout elements that reflect the brand’s credibility and science-led approach.
The Novanuit logo has been refined, now a modern sans-serif wordmark that conveys warmth and approachability while supporting the brand’s contemporary evolution. The layout is clean and minimal, with a clear information hierarchy that positions efficacy messaging heroically at the top of the pack.
The iconic Novanuit blue – a core asset identified in competitor research – has been elevated through a bold new gradient background, offering visual depth and emotional calm. The Novanuit moon, now confidently extracted and restyled, acts as a beacon across the pack, anchoring the range with an ownable, standout device that guides the consumer across the shelf.
This redesigned structure not only ensures Novanuit stands apart on-shelf, but also paves the way for future innovation with a flexible visual language that can expand across product launches and seasonal campaigns, while remaining instantly recognisable.
With clearly displayed information, bold use of colour and structure, and a focus on differentiation, the new design reflects the core brand promise – trusted, effective solutions for better quality sleep.
